The Awakening

The Awakening

Fair warning– once you take the red pill, there’s no turning back. Just tell yourself everything is ok and go back to sleep.

Happy Halloween!

    Shhh . . . I’m trying to sleep here.

Ignorance is bliss…until they come to get you.

How true.. I would’ve been so much less worried about the ongoing crisis and related events if I just stayed where I was a year ago mentally..

BUT, on the other hand, aside from not thinking about it there’s also another crazy solution even when you are thinking about it – and it’s kinda true too – just consider yourself sort of unbeatable, remind yourself that in every situation you’re the one still making choices and can always make a better or worse of a situation. You are the government of your own self and your own god too. :P

So fuck em all, the whole ignorant, stupid, insane world. You’re better than that and you live your own life.

    Mah. For what that’s worth..

Ya have to share the world,
with the small, petty and insane
but ya don’t have to like it.

I know exactly what you mean. Sometimes it’s hard to just sit back knowing things are wrong.

I suppose it’s a good problem to have though. Most people accept the world as it is, thinking the flaws are as good as it gets. The reason it irks me so much is because i know it can get better, and just hasn’t yet.

There’s two sides to every coin.

  7. Agape says:

What irks me is the “love it or leave it” attitude. With the irony that at this point if there was something closer to my ideals, I’d probably leave it and be happier for it. But the attitude that I either take it as is, or I should get gone? It’s like saying you see your significant other(s) with their hand down the garbage disposal as the switch is about to be thrown, that you’re not supposed to want to prevent that horrible mistake. The mistake, here, being watching liberty vanish and doing nothing. And the love it or leave it crowd saying you should either put up with your liberty going away, or jump ship. They never seem to want people to love it, and want it to be even better.
