This is less disturbing than the real answer. Apparently they don’t want video footage of guards slamming frail young men with health problems against walls just for asking questions.

I’ve never heard a convincing argument for the prohibition of cameras in courtrooms. Why *are* they hiding? The only explanation that seem reasonable is that fewer cameras makes the whole process more mysterious which somehow instills an unearned respect for the system in a majority of the people.
The courts do indeed “their part” to suck the lifeblood from us all. Yep, vampires. As if there were ever any doubt.
