What is “Fingerprinting” ?

Sam Dodson, reporter of the Obscured Truth Network and free speech / free press activist, challenges his arresting officer on the legal meaning of fingerprinting.

Apparently it’s whatever a police officer wants it to be if they don’t like you and want to charge you with a crime. Video of about the first five minutes of the conversation is below.

Apparently Sam lost the hearing or trial two weeks ago. I can’t find on this website what happened and what was decided in that hearing or trial. I’d appreciate it if someone would post that or direct me where it’s already posted.

About the fingerprinting disagreement and video, the cop wanted to procede with the entire or larger Bertillon booking and identification procedure, which may include collecting info and mug photography, not only fingerprinting. He called it fingerprinting while Sam refused or resisted consent to anything else. I don’t know why the cop didn’t simply call it booking and/or identification from the start.

I agree that it’s more about the “justice” system demanding compliance to the letter of their fickle commands/orders than it is about them obeying the law’s letter or spirit.
