Is good government possible? I’ve always said it’s not the size of government that’s the problem. It’s the nature of government that’s the problem. When it stops being a mafia-style monopoly, then it will finally be accountable like all other institutions would be if we truly had a free market. Small government will remain as much as fantasy as unicorns and the tooth fairy as long as the nature of government remains violent and monopolistic.

Oh, that’s right. I went there- potty humor.

People often forget where wealth comes from. Just a little reminder that the vast majority of millionaires in this country are self-made. They started with nothing or nearly so and got wealthy usually with hard work, a little ingenuity, and a strong stomach for risking all they owned, producing things people need and want. It’s understandable if the producers get a little bit annoyed at the parasites who want a piece of them and haven’t earned it.

I made today’s cartoon on the run. Just flew down the Florida to help a friend get moved up to New Hampshire and I have a long drive ahead of me. Once this mess is over, I should be able to work on upgrading the site which should make it much more appealing and easier to navigate.
